I created this end table from a half-sawn oak tree. Hand planned the top flat and created a custom base from pine.
I designed and hand carved each piece for this custom made chess set. Each piece is hand carved from basswood … and the board is hand made from cherry and walnut.
My daughters brought back these coasters from a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro … but they seemed to nice to lay around in their holder. So I created this display board to keep them in the open for everyone to admire.
